PHOTOS: Kwara State PDP candidates meet and greet sessions

The Kwara State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today held a meet-and -greet session for all aspirants contesting under the platform of the party. The session was organized by the leadership of the PDP in Kwara state to allow candidates of the party from across the sixteen Local Government Areas of the State to familiarize with one another for the purpose of synergy ahead of 2015 general election. The programme was well attended with about 8 of the party’s gubernatorial aspirants, including Professor Oba Abdulraheem, Sen. Suleiman Ajadi, Mr. John Dara, and Comrade Ben Duntoye. They did not only actively attend the forum but also participated productively in its various sessions. Other aspirants, including Mr. Dele Belgore, Sen. Gbemi Saraki, and Sen. Also in Attendance were elders of the party, including Chief Joel Ogundeji, former Deputy Governor of Kwara State, Akogun Iyiola Oyedepo, the party’s Chairman, Chief (Dr) Hezekiah Oyedepo and a host of others. The programme was cheered as aspirants from far and near came together and exchange banters in a lively atmosphere. The high point of the occasion was the solemn declaration by all the gubernatorial aspirants of the party, led by the Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on National Assembly Matters, Sen. Ajadi,  that all the governorship aspirants shall work in unison with whoever emerges at the end of the day, especially for governorship contest. We have also resolved within ourselves that we shall work actively with the eventual candidate to ensure the glory of the PDP in the 2015 General Elections,”Sen. Ajadi.
