Dimgba Igwe: Final journey begins

The funeral rites of iconic journalist and Vice chair­man of The Sun Publishing Limited, Pas­tor Dimgba Igwe, begin today in Okota, Lagos.The rites start with Service of Songs by 3pm at Evangel Pentecostal Church, 3/9, Chidi Oka­for Street, Canal Estate, Okota, Isolo, Lagos.The late Igwe also served as Deputy General Overseer of the Church. The body will depart thereafter for his home town, Igbere, Abia State.
On Friday, October 10, another service of songs holds by 5.00p.m at his hometown residence, in Okafia, Igbere, Bende Lo­cal Government Area of Abia State.His remains will be committed to mother earth at his residence after funeral service on Sat­urday, October 11, 2014 at Okafia Igbere Primary School.Pastor Igwe, who was also co-publisher, Enter­tainment Express, died on Saturday, September 6, 2014 from injuries sustained from a hit-and-run vehicle while jogging around his neighbourhood at Okota, Lagos.
