PDP WINS 22 OUT OF 24 EBONYI STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY SEATS...AS AFIKPO CHIC SETS TO BECOME MINORITY LEADER

The Peoples Democratic Party has won 22 out of 24 House of Assembly seats in Ebonyi State. According to the results released by the Independent National Electoral Commission, PDP won in Onicha West and East, Afikpo North West, Afikpo South East and West, Ohaozara East and West, Ivo, Ezza South, Ikwo North and South constituencies.

Others are Izzi West, Ishielu North and South and Ebonyi North East and West.
PPA won Afikpo North East constituency while LP won Izzi East.


The state Resident Electoral Commissioner, Lawrence Azubuike, when contacted said the elections in five constituencies were inconclusive.

They include Abakaliki South, Ohaukwu North and South and Ezza North East and West.
