A total solar eclipse will take place tomorrow as the Moon moves between the Sun and the Earth. Although only a small part of the world will experience the full eclipse – residents of Europe and even North Africa and Asia can see a partial eclipse in the morning. A total solar eclipse occurs when the Moon’s apparent diameter is larger than the Sun’s, blocking all direct sunlight, turning day into darkness. And Mark Blitz is sure that day is the ‘day of judgement’. His reasoning is that the event happens on both the first day of spring and the first day of the Jewish religious calender. He said: “In Jewish tradition, a total solar eclipse is a warning to the Gentiles and a sign of judgment on the nations. When we look at where the darkness will be, it will be in northern European countries like England and Sweden where we see the rise of Islam and anti-Israel sentiment. Europeans especially should take heed.”Two weeks after the solar eclipse there will be the third of four ‘blood moons’ (lunar eclipses). This, he says, ‘demands attention’ despite the fact that it happens once every 100,000 years and we’re still here. He then cites the Bible adding that it is probably ‘a message from God to the entire world’. Further evidence comes with the fact that in 1967 there were four blood moons and Israel captured Jerusalem.
The blood moon “prophecy” is connected to the return of Jesus, according to some Christians.
