A terrible accident happened this morning on 3rd Mainland Bridge en-route to Oworoshoki, Lagos state.According to a report on Vanguard, the incident happened at about 6am at the UNILAG area of the bridge, causing a traffic jam that lasted for hours.An unidentified motorcyclist was said to have fallen off his bike and was roasted to death.
An eyewitness said the man was riding from the Iyana-Oworo end at high speed. He was flagged down by some law enforcement agents who warned him against speeding, but he turned a deaf ear and on getting to the UNILAG area, he fell off the bike and was engulfed in fire.The police are already at the scene of the accident.

Accidents always seem to occur on 3rd Mainland Bridge. In January 14 people were injured in a serious accident which occurred on the bridge when two vehicles collided.
That same January, three people lost their lives in a car crash that occurred on the bridge.
