The deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Abia State, Prince Fred Eke Idika, has concluded plans to defect to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party. Idika, it was learnt, is at present at a PDP function in Umuahia, the state capital, where he will announce his defection. The PDP women rally,
taking place at the Umuahia Township stadium, is the venue where he is expected to make the formal declaration. The event is ongoing. Idika is already at the event and has all over him the mementos of the PDP. Details soon.
