I Shall Tackle Insecurity, Corruption, liberate Nigerians from 16 years of bad governance by the PDP.– Buhari


The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) has expressed his determination to tackle insecurity, unemployment and corruption if voted into power.Addressing the mammoth crowd that thronged the Osogbo City Sports Stadium in continuation of his presidential campaign to the state, Buhari said that Nigerians do not deserve the spate of insecurity, unemployment and corruption bedevilling the nation.The APC presidential candidate who arrived the stadium late in the evening expressed appreciation to the residents of the state for their massive turnout at the campaign rally despite his late arrival.He appealed to the people of the state to ensure that they collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC), cast their votes for the party of their choice and ensure that they stand by their votes.Also speaking, Osun State governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola told the people that the forthcoming election is to liberate Nigerians from 16 years of bad governance by the PDP.While noting that Osun State is APC’s stronghold, Aregbesola said that anyone who loves Nigeria must ensure that they vote out PDP in the forthcoming election. for the country to move forward.The national chairman of the APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun enjoined the people of the state to repeat the feat recorded in the 2011 general election in the state, adding that a vote for APC is a vote against bad governance, corruption and insecurity.He charged the people of the state to give Buhari/Osinbajo resounding votes, describing them as men of courage and principle.The former governor of Osun State who is also the former national secretary of PDP but now in APC, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola said voting for Buhari and Osinbajo is the only way out left for Nigerians in the next political dispensation.He therefore called on religious leaders and traditional rulers across the country to pray for the success of the election, adding that the country needs change.
