A bomb scare in Kaduna Monday forced traders to close shops in the metropolis. Many people had ran helter-skelter to remain alive. It started when curious traders along Ahmadu Bello Way, the business hub of the city, had raised alarm over a white bag abandoned near Kontagora road. The traders had suspected the bag to be bomb and immediately alerted security agents. However, a Police anti-bomb squad which arrived the area promptly discovered that the bag contained some waste items and not bomb.
