Nigerians have blasted Adamu Mu’azu following his resignation as the National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP few hours ago.The PDP Stalwart had been in a tussle with some big wigs of the party in recent months following the loss of President Goodluck Jonathan at the March 28 Presidential election, and had been asked to resign despite the fact that he had called for peace in the party.Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose had alleged that Mu’azu worked with the All Progressives Congress, APC, to ensure victory for the major opposition during the presidential polls and alongside other party members, asked Mu’azu to resign honourably like British Party leaders.
While some think his resignation is long overdue, several others are of the opinion that he may have resigned in order to join the APC to have his place in the soon-to-be-inaugurated administration.
