Members of the Enugu State House of Assembly, had in the wee hours of Monday, May 4, 2015 commenced impeachment proceedings against Governor Sullivan Chime of the state.
According to Daily Post, fourteen lawmakers, led by the Speaker, Eugene Odo read a notice of impeachment against Chime during a sitting.
Eight other legislators were reportedly againts the deal and were said to have impeached the Speaker, Hon. Odo and replaced him with Hon. Chinedu Nwamba representing Nsukka East constituency.
