A civil society organization named the Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law has demanded the release of President Goodluck Jonathan’s doctorate degree details by the University of Port Harcourt.This appears to be fallout from the controversy caused by the release of the presidential candidate of the opposition All Progressives Congress, Muhammadu Buhari’s school leaving certificate.The controversy forced Buhari’s former school to provide his results, and former classmates felt it necessary to reveal that Buhari had sat for the examination together with them.The freedom of information request was on behalf of one Omano Edigheji and demands that UNIPORT release the following documents related to the president’s doctorate qualification, as stipulated by section 2 and 4 of the Freedom of Information Act 2011:
