A suicide bomber has reportedly killed 7 persons in Biu town, Borno.
DAILY TRUST reports that the bomb went off today when a suicide bomber attacked a market just as former Governor Modu Sheriff was on his way to the area. The incident reportedly took place at about 3:00pm. Narrating how it happened, Nuhu Usman who was at the market said ''I was very much close to the van that ferried the explosive but I cannot say the whole thing was a suicide mission. The vehicle came with some goods and passengers, including a woman but suddenly exploded."There was carnage at the scene because most of the victims could not be recognised when we return to offfer help''.
