Photo: Police Arrest 4 notorious kidnappers in Enugu

Operatives of the Enugu State Police Command have arrested four notorious kidnappers. The suspects, identified as Peter Uche, Chukwuemeka Aruejiofor, Sunday Joshua and Ndubuisi Nwankwo, were arrested by operatives of the anti-kidnapping unit of the command. Leadership gathered that the suspects had earlier abducted one Edith Uchedenyi and Chinwe Eze. A release made available to LEADERSHIP in Enugu by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Ebere Amaraizu, confirmed the arrest of the four suspected kidnappers.

“They were nabbed on the third of this month based on a trail to their hideout and after a serious gun duel that existed between the hoodlums and security operatives which left suspects fatally injured.

“They are helping the operatives on the alleged kidnap of one Edith Uchedenyi and one Chinwe Eze whom suspects, had allegedly kidnapped earlier before their arrest. Suspects have narrated their roles as investigations have been intensified,” Amaraizu stated.
