An Arizona man proclaiming himself the ‘Dark Lord’ has been arrested after allegedly burning and urinating on a copy of the Bible outside a Christian homeless shelter. Police say Eric Minerault, 22, was found standing on the steps of the building dressed in a black and red robe and wearing a pentagram necklace. A burnt and wet Bible was on the ground next to him.
And officers say Minerault, who was arrested on suspicion of unlawful symbol burning, claimed he was the ‘Dark Lord’ when they asked him what was behind the alleged act.‘He said that he chose the mission because he believed it was a place of Christian worship and he was cursing the Christians,’ said Lieutenant Ken Morley.
‘The officers asked him why and he said because he is the Dark Lord.’
