A man who was playing with his friend’s dangerous dog has regretted his action, after the animal bit his lips in Ajegunle area of Lagos State, yesterday.The owner of the dog was said to have gotten to his house, accompanied by his friend, Junior, when his friend stopped over to play with the dog. The accident happened when Junior jerked the dog’s chain.
An eye-witness, Emmanuel, told LEADERSHIP FRIDAY, that the Rottweiler wanted to go jump on its owner, when Junior jerked its chain from behind, causing both man and dog to collide.
The dog had bared it teeth and slit Junior’s lips, as Junior could be seen cupping his lips.
Emmanuel also disclosed that the owner of the dog had earlier warned Junior not to disturb the dog, because it is dangerous, but the warning fell on deaf ears.
The owner of the dog took the dog to its pen while his friends Junior to the Ajegunle General hospital for medical attention.
LEADERSHIP FRIDAY understands that the vicious attack by the dog had left Junior with an ugly slit from below the nose to the lower lip.
