Abia: PPA Backs Arthur Eze Over Gov Orji’s Misrule

The Progressive Peoples Alliance (PPA) yesterday backed business mogul, Chief Arthur Eze, in condemning the governance style of Abia State governor, Theodore Orji, saying the continuous infrastructure decay and economic retrogression in the state were as a result of the governor’s betrayal of trust and mandate.
PA national chairman, Comrade Peter Ameh, stated this in a statement he issued in Abuja while reacting to Chief Eze’s recent remarks on the 23rd anniversary of the state in which he decried the bad state of Abia State occasioned by maladministration under the current governor.Agreeing with Eze that Aba is very dirty, stinks and the roads so bad, Ameh recalled that Governor Orji’s refusal to implement PPA’s master plan was responsible for the horrifying state of infrastructure in the state. He said PPA had been vindicated after a well respected and reputable person like the country’s billionaire questioned the conspiracy of silence by Abia elders and the elected as well as appointed officers in respect to the horrifying infrastructural decay in the state which, among other things, “have subjected Abia ‘God’s own state’ to be treated as one of the most underdeveloped state of the federation”.
