Uduaghan’s Aide, Monarch Burnt In Auto Crash

Delta State Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan’s Special Adviser on information and communications technology (ICT), Mr Sunny Ofili, and the Obi of Issele-Uku yesterday along Asaba-Onitsha Express road were roasted to death in an auto crash which occurred few metres away from Issele-Azagba community along the expressway.
Reports said that the Obi whose name could not be immediately ascertained, and the special adviser, were heading towards Asaba after the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries ahead of the local government elections slated for October 2014.
Unconfirmed sources said that the Obi and the special adviser were allegedly disillusioned in anger when the primaries results ended in selection and not in their favour. They were said to have been heading to Asaba to lay official complaints over the alleged irregularities that heralded the primaries in Issele-Uku when the unexpected happened. Those in the know hinted that the Obi was ill-advised and had prepared for favourable results that was invariably a failure when he allegedly got angry and drove himself in a Land Cruser SUV with the special adviser.
