Police withdraw politicians security aides

The Police, yesterday, withdrew all the police officers attached to political office holders in Osun State, saying no voter would be allowed to go to the poling booth with police orderly or any security aide..The Commissioner of Police in charge of Osun Governorship election, Mr Augustine Evbakhabokun disclosed this at
a pressconference in Osogbo.Evbakhabokun noted that the Police had concludedarrangements to ensure security of lives and property during and after the election and warned all voters to stay away from the polling centre after exercising their franchise, saying any individual found with implicating material will be dealt with in accordance with the electoral laws.However, he denied knowledge of any arrest made by the Police in connection with the governorship election.
