Police arrest Boy 16 for stealing Television in Abuja


The police in Galadima area of Gwarimpa estate today Sunday 10th August arrested a 16 year old Jamilu Suleima for stealing a 21 inch L.G television valued at 21,000.Narrating the incident a navy officer names withheld who witnessed the drama told our correspondent that the suspect an indigene of neighboring Nasarawa state has been a bad boy within the area, according to him,the boy who specialize in breaking into peoples home when they have gone for Prayer to cart away with their belonging,and subsequently sale them at a cheaper rate to some residents in the area. Luck ran out from the suspect when a victim who he broke into her room and carted away with some valuables including a 21 inch L.G television reported the matter to the police,subsequently the police sent out some people to be monitoring the movements of some youths within the area,on how the suspect was arrested,he  said the suspect as usual tried breaking into one mr.Sadiq’s  room to steal television as ,he never knew people were watching him and as he attempted opening the door,people raised the alarm and the security men guarding houses within Charley boy area Gwarimpa estate rushed in and caught the suspect, who after severe punishment admitted to the crime but said he always gives the money he sold out from the stolen items to one Hajiya,the police immediately arrested the lady who work as bank to the suspect.
As of the time of sending in this report the suspect and the woman is being interrogated at Galadima police station Gwarimpa Estate Abuja.
