The
Director-General of National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mr Mike Omeri, has said
the agency recruited 5,000 personnel to boost its “Do the Right Thing
Campaign’’. Omeri spoke in Abuja when he led a delegation from the agency on a
courtesy call on the Minister of State for Federal Capital Territory (FCT),
Olajumoke Akinjide recently. He said the recruitment, aimed at propagating the campaign of the
agency, covered the six geo-political zones in the country.
According to him, all the ethnic groups in the country are
considered in the recruitment so that the campaign will be effective at the
grassroots across the country.
