I find it beautiful
How a certain song can change a person,
Or how a certain quote can change our point of view.
We are easily influenced,
Yet we are also powerful beyond our imagination,
Beyond our wildest dreams.
We can change a person's life,
Just by existing.
Just by being there.
People come,
People go.
And it's okay to be sad once in a while,
And it's okay to be happy, too.
I've ultimately learned
That whatever happens in life,
I will always change to make the best of that situation,
Because my bones are merely dust,
My muscles merely ashes,
My heart and soul are true.
And that's all that counts.
