Photographs of the bomb explosion at New Road Luxurious Motor Park, Kano on Thursday

Imporvised Explosive Device(IED) was detonated this afternoon at the New motorpark in Sabon Gari area of Kano.

The bomb exploded around 3pm inside a Marcopolo car, destroying the front part of the vehicle.The vehicle is getting ready for Port Harcourt when the bomb exploded.

Kano State commissioner of police, Adenerele Shinaba confirmed the report.
