The recent
embarrassment meted out to the Imo State governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, by
Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charlyboy, has continued to attract
criticisms in the state as some youths under the aegis of Imo Youth Parliament
yesterday lashed out at him.
The youths,
led by their president and Imo Youth ambassador, Hon Godstime Samuel, who
addressed a press conference in Owerri, berated the son of the late jurist,
Chukwudifo Oputa for his action which they described as insulting to the chief
executive officer of the state.
They
demanded an unreserved apology from Charlyboy within 72 hours or they would declare
him a persona non grata.
