Turgut Oymen, 73, was left devastated after his lifelong sweetheart, Nese, left him for a young doctor on the eve of their golden wedding anniversary. In anger, the heartbroken pensioner chopped off his penis and threw it in a river.While Nese, 70, was 550 miles away in Istanbul, Turkey, she called Turgut to say she had fallen in love with a 55-year-old doctor, and had decided to stay in the city.
In despair, the 73-year-old rushed down to the river to commit the act before calling for an ambulance.

Three ladies aged between 25 and 30 years died Thursday afternoon after the hummer bus in which they were travelling was knocked off the Lagos-Benin highway by an operational vehicle driven by operatives of the Nigerian Customs Service.The commuter bus with registeration number EDO AKA 35 LG carrying second hand clothes also known as okirika, summersaulted during a hot chase by Customs officials from the Federal Operations Unit, Zone A, Ikeja from one of their checkpoints in Ijebu Ode.
The driver of the bus allegedly refused to stop when flagged down at their checkpoint which resulted in the tragic chase.

24 year old Nigerian Ozeivo Andrew Akerele has been declared missing after he failed to return to his apartment from a night out with his friends on January 30th.
According to police reports, Ozeivo, a new entrant at the Coventry University, UK was last seen at Iglu club on Spon street where he went to hang out with his friends. Coventry police believe Ozi had called after leaving the club to be picked up from wherever he was.
“We believe that Ozi made a call asking to be picked up by Coventry University in the early hours of Saturday, January 31. However, when his lift arrived he was not there and has not been seen since. His family are extremely concerned as this is very out of character for him. He would not know the area particularly well and we are appealing to anyone who has seen Ozi or knows of his whereabouts to call their local police with details. A Nigerian girl identified as Gift from Edo state, (pictured above), has been found dead one month after she gave an interview to PM News, about how she was trafficked to Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso for prostitution.According to PM News, Gift had told them in January 2015 during an investigative report on Human trafficking that she and some girls had been lured to Ougadougou in April 2014 with the hope of getting a better life in Europe but in the end were made sex slaves at the ‘Bar Dancing Petit Ouaga’, a brothel in Toudoubweogo village in Ouagadougou.
During the interview in January, Gift had expressed hope that once she has paid the traffickers their money, she would be free to leave. Sadly she has died. They didn't say how she died and when.

Jega Will Receive Notice Of Terminal Leave Next Week
The APC senators in the national assembly alleged that Professor Attahiru Jega, the chairman of INEC, will be directed to embark on terminal leave next week. According to a report by The Cable, the former governor of Benue state and senate minority leader, " the head of service would direct Jega to proceed on terminal leave next week.
The senators condemned the attempt to remove the INEC chairman under any guise, saying his removal would be tantamount to “subversion of the system”. “Only dishonest politicians fear Jega as chairman of INEC,” Akume said.
“We have received information that next week Jega will be served a letter from the head of service directing him to proceed on terminal leave. We wonder why the government wants to tamper with the current arrangement of INEC.”

Troops who recaptured Baga to be given special promotion
The Nigerian Army says it will be placing all the Nigerian troops involved in the mission to recapture Baga from Boko Haram on special promotion.
